Aliciainwundrland 's Thoughts:

I love anything with an old english flair, and this Charlotte Russe houndstooth romper is just that. It’s so versatile I wear it all the time for all occassions. Rompers are perhaps the greatest invention pertaining to summer since the amusement park.

The oxfords just contribute to the whole granny theme, as well as the pearls and my hair in a bun. The pearls have a cute little bow on it. LOVE that detail. The purse is kind of granny too, being plain and brown and a little faded looking.

Then there’s the red lips and the head band that gives this look a little bit of a flapper vibe, so it’s like your great grandmother reminiscing her old flapper days. it’s a cute look for summer. I dressed it down by ditching the pearls and oxfords for some gladiator sandals.

I know I’m going to get some guff for mixing balck and brown (or at least I would from my mother) but I love black and brown together. Especially when it’s a small amount of black with big brown.
