i was criticized about my weight on Friday, brought down my self esteem completely.
i know i shouldn’t let mean words get to me, but they always do

The only way to look skinny – actually stop eating and become skinny. Sorry, but if you are 100kg black will not help.

i think it all depends on your body type.
for some people, wearing black won’t help.
for some, tights help but for other, tights make them look even worse.

My standard “fat day” outfit is a pair of dark wash jeans, a grey sweatshirt and a pair of cute flats. Instead of a plain/average looking sweatshirt I try and pick one that looks a little nicer. Like one with 3/4 length sleeves that hangs down lower or an off the shoulder one.

For me it’s all about the proportion of my clothes, where they hit on my body and not wearing things that are baggy in the wrong places. :s

anything black usually works. However you should also wear clothes that work well for your figure.

Black, definitely… something with a loud pattern that isn’t too tight… a very loose shirt with skinny jeans… whatever you feel comfortable in, that YOU think looks good.

First off, embrace your body and love it… I know easier said then done. Every girl has self-esteem issues when growing up. Also HUGELY important… don’t know how old you are… but… you loose a lot of weight as you get in your mid 20s (if you are eating healthy). I also lost 10 pounds in a year after I quit eating meat.

As for skinny clothing… flatter your best assets… if it is waist wear a larger belt… legs.. show them off… ect :)

I refrain from wearing my comfortable, padded bra if I chose to wear a lose top. Bandeau tops would help a bit as an undergarment.

Well if you have skinny legs then skinny jeans will work , most will PULL you in, try TOPSHOP.

Also then a baggy top , if you can pull of the boyfriend look , with baggy jumpers , tops and blazers etc you could try and wear baggyish clothing , not too baggy you dont want to look like a washer women ,
