I never had acne as a teenager, but as I got older and went to university I broke out. I was told by a specialist that I had adult acne..I finally found a skin regime that works, and now only get the occasional spot here and there which is great. But the scarring from my previous breakouts hasnt gone…HELP?

exfoliating will definately help…
but it depends on the type of scarring you have…
weather you scar is a dimple (a loss of tissue),
a bump (extra growth of tissue),
or just a dark mark…

for the first two i think its best to see a specialist for microderm abrasian

for darker pigmentation youo can try skin whitener creams
i also heard that rubbing potato slices(thin slices) on your skin helps with improving
dark pigmentation and scars…

i exfoliate alot and massage “Bio Oil” into my skin for hydration, it is also really good for skin pigmentation and preventing scars because its got vitamin E

but because its oily you have to wash your face afterwards with a light soap…
like dove beauty bar… which has moisturising cream in it with soap…
doing that should remove the excess oil but leave your skin hydrated!

you can also get vitamin E oil capsules which helps with improving scars!
GOODLUCK!

Try yes to carrots, you can find it at walgreens or online. the carrots have tons of vitamin a and beta carotene in them, which is beneficial to healing and fading scars.
its like 90 something % natural
and its fairly cheap

i agree, it depends on the type of scars. if it is just little dark spots from old blemishes, then exfoliation will work. try this natural remedy: after washing your face, use a cotton ball soaked in lemon juice, sprinkle white sugar on it and then scrubbie all over your face with it (watch your eyes—ouch!). rinse. doing this really helped to fade my scars and now my skin is clean and clear. i only do this once a week, how often you do it is up to you.

One of the most common homemade treatments for acne scars is a honey mask. It’s cheap and 100 percent natural. It’s also incredibly easy to use. If you have many acne scars on your face, cover the entire area with honey and leave for an hour. Honey is moisturizing. It’s great for people with dry skin. If you have oily or combination skin, add a little bit of lemon juice to the honey. Lemon juice is also good for treating acne scars, but unlike honey, it dries your skin. People with sensitive skin shouldn’t use a honey mask more often than once a fortnight.

Drink plenty of water daily. Keep your skin clean and clear. And avoid using every second product on your face because they can make your scars go worse than how they are now . Since i’ve tried invicible myself and the sooner user also recommended the same product, i’d recommend you try it because it’s also hypoallergenic. If it isn’t going to work for you , it isn’t going to harm you either
