So Kim Jong Il of North Korea died, and there has been a lot of talk about him being a bad person, so we shouldn’t be sad. What do you think? Is it okay to pseudo-celebrate someone’s death?

I think it’s never a good thing to celebrate someone’s death. For example, the way people react when a death sentence is applied really scares me. Because it exposes all the hate and anger that people have inside… Sure the person that is executed committed awful crimes but I just feel like all this hate and anger can also turn against innocent people if they are suspected of having committed a crime on ungrounded reasons. See what I mean?
But back to Kim Jong Il. I think the way people are celebrating his death and saying what an a**hole he was is just ridiculous and hipocritical. I mean, hello?!? He’s always been a dictator and nobody seemed to care. If you are so happy that he died, maybe you should have done something while he was alive.
