I’m Maya Fleming from The Polka Dot.

My blog is for fashion (mostly) with bits on beauty, music, and literature. I would love to work with brands and other bloggers once I build up a readership (another thing I’d like advice on, please!), but I’m having a hard time figuring out what exactly to pitch to which brands and how to format pitches. Do you guys have any success stories with pitching? Advice? Examples of pitches?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Hey Maya!

I’m Bernard from [Grazing Fashion]
I going to suggest that you take a look at the bloggers program for OASAP just so you can get a glimpse of the blogger-brand relationship. However, I visited your blog and I already so that you signed up with them – that’s good. One tip is, search for brands that speaks to your style. You’re a very vibrant individual so I would stay away from the conservative market in the industry.

You basically just tell them that you want to work with them. Tell them the benefits that they will get from working with you: a whole new readership/audience. From every 100 people who click on their site, one of them will buy a product. Explain to them the kind of relationship you want to build with them.

I hope I’m a help. Good luck!
